What I’ve been up to in the new year

Travels of Adam on Instagram

My Instagram photos from the past month or so

Sorry for the delay in writing. If you were actually reading, that is. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind and there are a lot of things to share and write about. But sometimes my motivation escapes me. Please pardon the blog-ese (blog-speak?) but here are a few tidbits of my recent life from Berlin:

My round-the-world travels from A to Z

It’s the end beginning of the year and my inspiration (something I was looking for a few months ago) has come and gone. So, for a little recap of my travels, enjoy this travel meme: The ABCs of travel. (Thank you to Cheryl and Nicole for tagging me) Read the rest of this entry »

For lack of creativity, time and battery power, I’m not really sure how to word this feeling I’ve got. But, as the title suggests, it feels like I’m slowly remembering what it feels like to travel. I suppose I’d forgotten it since I’d been living in Berlin for so long.

I’m writing this very quickly—from my hotel in Amman, Jordan. So, on this trip back to Texas, I was fortunate enough to visit Grapevine as an “adult” (in the sense of making sure I had a good time).

Just like any 20-something who leaves their hometown for college, going back to your hometown is usually a bit of a shock. People change, of course, but so do places. And Grapevine was definitely a different city from what I remember seeing 10 years ago. From hotel resorts to up-scale restaurants, Grapevine, TX is not how I remembered it. And that’s a good thing.
