Well, first of all, I can’t believe it’s 2011. Second, I can’t believe I’ve been abroad and traveling since last May. 2010 has obviously been the most important year of my life up until now. My life has undeniably changed and improved. And yet, without a doubt, I’m absolutely certain this next year, 2011, will be that much better. I have no doubt in my mind that this will be a good year, a phenomenal year for me. Why? Because I’ve never been so sure of who I am; I’ve never been so sure of what I’m capable of.
Traveling has taught me a number of things—from Middle Eastern geography to Australian slang words—but probably the greatest thing I’ve come away with (so far) is the ability to be confident in who I am and what I want. And with this new-found courage I’m happier than I’ve ever been before. For all this, I know things will only get better. And that’s why I’m so incredibly optimistic about this upcoming year.
Bring it on!
(Happy new year everyone!)
Happy New Year to you, Adam – hope it will be just as amazing as 2010 has been for you, but we’re sure it will!!
