This traditional Marathi folk dance is local to the Maharashtra state of India. You may have seen President Obama dancing to something like this when he was here last week. What is it with politicians and the need to make a fool of themselves dancing to local beats?

I’ve noticed the same thing too. In most cases most politicians would attempt to perform a traditional dance but since they have no clue of what they are doing, the end result is just funny. Sometimes I wish they would just try to learn some basic words such as greetings that the locals might appreciate more.
