Cadiz Beach, panorama 2

Cadiz is beautiful. It was a last minute decision to go here, but I’m so glad I’m did. The beach was one of my favorites in Spain. The hostel I stayed in was friendly, welcoming & it was easy to meet people.

I love finding places that were never on your original itinerary but suddenly become a favorite. I only spent a few nights there but I think I’d like to go back. I was kind of under the weather in Cadiz and didn’t get to fully experience the nightlife or many of the restaurants in the old part of town.

Cadiz’s old town is one of the most beautiful in Spain. The narrow alleys, pedestrian walkways and triangular plazas are a mix of old and new. Wandering around at night, it was easy to get lost. But that wasn’t a bad thing.

As you’ve heard me say this is where I wanted to visit in Spain now based on your description and beautiful photos I wish I had made the effort to get myself there if even for a day—maybe someday soon I will go there and if you are nearby dinner and drinks are on me!
